Sport, like faith transcends boundaries and culture. We admire those who represent our country, for their courage and determination to do well and their desire to win if at all possible. The powerful story for some sports men and women is the power of God at work in their lives, influencing their values, beliefs and behaviour. God is the reason they choose not to use performance-enhancing drugs; why they do their best but don’t want to win at all costs.
Radio remains the mainstay of our work, but together with mobile technology and the internet as these stories of faith and trust in God are passed on they can be a powerful force for good and for God.
